Project 9: Portraits

Fine Art
I chose this photo of Ashley while she smelling some flowers, and she actually wasn't posing, I caught her off guard.  I edited this photo to be black and white with a vignette because it really emphasizes her face, and flowers. As well as focusing on the wavy composition of the flowers, which I think is really interesting.

Commercial
I took these photos of my sister Nikki, outside in hopes to capture dramatic shadows casted from the trees, while still having soft light to illuminate the product for commerciality (the sunglasses). While editing these photos, I took the brush tool in Lightroom and over saturated the glasses, but desaturated the photo itself while softening the shadows but adding more value overall.

Project 8: Photo Montage

This is a combination photo of a statue hand, balloons, sky, and tree on land. I used the burn tool to add shadows and value in the sky, I then tinted the sky a more teal hue. Then I selected each balloon and made each one have a different color.

This one is also a statue, and hand with flowers that have been duplicated many times with different hues. The concept is that she's being swallowed by many flowers. Basically, absurdity.
